What we think…
Smooth and strangely cool to the touch, Fard Lumière Aquarésistant Water Resistant Cream Eyeshadow glides seamlessly over your eyelid. It’s worth noting that it does take 10 to 15 seconds for the product to fully set upon your lids. In an effort to minimize creasing during application, we would happily advise you to do so - eyes closed please. After your moment of Zen, you can build the color for a more intense nighttime look or keep that intitial soft wash of color, so as not to offend the prude in the next office cubical. An added bonus? It also makes an amazing base for YSL’s Tresor D’Afrique Collector 5 Color Palette for the Eyes.

Even the most timid of fashionistas among us shines in the vibrant turquoise.(Go on…trust us,don’t be afraid…NEVER be afraid!) Customize your color for real life all day wear. It’s comforting to know there is still truth in advertising when they say “…long lasting luminous and waterproof,” they mean it! Humidity, perspiration, the fingertips of tiny children. Nothin’ is takin’ this stuff off until you do. So much so that we began to dread the sometimes painful eye scrubbing make up removal dance we’ve all done with our favorite waterproof eyeliner. (Editors note: Invest in great eye make up remover,never skimp on the basics!) Suprisingly, with even the most gentle of cleansers, it washes right off. No red eye sting or the need to go back in armed with a Qtip and a fierce sense of determination.
At a price point of 28.50$ you may want to take a moment and realistically asses your finances. It’s ok to prioritize….but sometimes you get what you pay for. If you are an atomic level face paint junkie or just looking for a subtle shift in your make up paradigm then we say take the plunge. Versatile, waterproof, gentle, gorgeous, mistake proof color. Brilliant. Perfect for summertime anything.
