 What they say: “Our silicone based eye shadow primer transforms any eye shadow into a perfectly blendable, color-drenched, intensified version of itself, then locks it down perfectly until you take it off.” What we think: Silicone living on top of your ribcage may not be such a great idea but resting happily on your eyelid it totally makes up for any Baywatch overdose you may have had in the 90’s. (Not that we don’t love us some Ms. Anderson! It was just a bit much is all…) This slightly scary chemical has redeemed itself as a make up primer. Of course, Too Faced is not the only company to use this super creamy emollient but what they have done is made a product that everyone can use. And by everyone I mean women who don’t fall into the Desperate Housewives limited color spectrum. Unlike many other eye shadow primers this goes on clear. Those of us with oily skin may find it slides around a bit. In which case this is probably not the product for you. Keep in mind a VERY small amount goes a very long way. Less is more is a life philosophy for a reason. Is this the last eye shadow primer you’ll ever need? Eh, Maybe not. Worth a try?
