Nude in the Garden of Edun

Once again the Bono family brings the ruckus. First (ok…second if you’re gonna count that whole U2 thing) with Edun, a socially conscious clothing line emphasizing, “Trade not Aid”, which of course we love…. and now with Nude. (get it? Nude is Edun spelled backwards…) Rock star wife, global minded business woman Ali Hewson together with Bryan Meehan “eco-entrepreneur”, founder of Fresh and Wild(now Whole Foods) have created what they say is a line of all natural cosmetics that perform better than the leading more chemical friendly brands.
The stand out product for us? The Cleansing Facial Oil. Ok, it’s got some drawbacks. Kinda pricy and gets everywhere! Imagine washing your face with olive oil. Now imagine your sink basin afterward. If you use a nice cloth to wipe off the product it does mitigate some of the work but we still felt the need to give our skin a slight rinse just to get it all off. Once you do we promise you will be surprised at how soft your skin feels.
Yes. There is some commitment involved ( like cleaning your sink everyday but try it in the shower…not so bad) but we swear to you it’s all totally worth it. It takes off EVERYTHING. Your favorite waterproof whatever is no match for this stuff. It even took down our MAC Liquid Last Liner (which has survived many Vegas weekends when the same cannot be said of our livers) without too much scrubbing. The oil simply dissolves product no matter what it’s made of.
