![]() Many photographers travel the world to capture those beautiful instants which usually become memories and immortalize them. Claude Charles Mollard is an atypical character and photographer. During the 70s he founded and worked on the Centre Pompidou along with Robert Bordaz and famous architects Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers. But apart from his political career that allowed him to promote many important cultural projects, he is a world traveller, he loves nature and his photography focuses on images that represent and portray the origins of human being. ![]() His trained eye is always looking for the encounter with the unknown that nature rarely allows you to see. He basically photographs things where he sees faces of people reflected upon. Is he a daydreamer? For sure, but what is better than capturing your daydream on film? Four years ago Claude decided to finally disclose his archive, so his photography was exposed in thirty exhibitions around the world: from Paris to Naples, from Marrakech to Lima just to name a few of the cities that have hosted his work. From December 10th until January 31st 2010 you can admire Claude Mollard’s exhibition “Les Origènes” (The Origins) at the Galerie Sponte in Paris. So if you are going to Paris for the Christmas holidays why don’t you have a look at this exceptional artist?
